PHP rtrim — Strip whitespace (or other characters) from the end of a string

var_dump($text, $binary, $hello);

$trimmed = rtrim($text);
var_dump($trimmed);

$trimmed = rtrim($text, " 	.");
var_dump($trimmed);

$trimmed = rtrim($hello, "Hdle");
var_dump($trimmed);
