#if you have enough disk space(df -h) and inode space (df -i), the
#folder with lots of files, "cache" folder in this example, may be 
#messed up and will likely be fixed with:
mkdir cache_new   
chmod ugo+rwX cache_new 
mv cache cache_old  
mv cache_new cache  
rsync -av cache_old cache
