How to combine the output of multiple lists in python

countries = ['USA', 'Canada', 'UK', 'Australia']
cities = ['Washington', 'Ottawa', 'London', 'Canberra']

for x, y in zip(countries, cities):
  print('The capital of {} is {}.'.format(x, y))
